Music reviews and suggestions, only Drum & Bass and Dubstep! I find the music so you dont have to. By Tom Lazzby

Metrik - Flightwave EP

Ive been rinsing this EP this week. 3 free tracks from Metrik which I would have happily paid for. Entertainment value, 5 stars! The 3 below are in my favorite order. “Its my Turn” is awesome! Free download links on each track!

Loadstar - Second Skin

Another Indoor Fest track ID. I remember this literally kicking off during Camo and Krooked’s set. Fucking epic. This track and another are on their free EP released just a few days ago. Like their Facebook page for the free downloads https://www.facebook.com/Loadstarmusic/app_440107562683537

Subfocus - Out of the Blue

This was played out by at least 4 artists during Indoor Fest. The vocals were etched into my brain for day afterwards. Thank god Subfocus is back making Drum and Bass. I hate all of his recent “Dubstep” attempts.

Netsky - Come Alive

Was asked for alot of track names during Indoor Fest so im going to try and put as many as I can remember up on here. This was a big one. Brand new Netsky. His new album cant be far away. I predict greatness.

Seven Lions - Polarized (Ft. Shaz Sparks)

This guy just continues to amaze me. The track kind of reminds me of Arkasia because of the melody and guitar sounding wobbles. It has half a million views in 6 days. Wait for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th drop. Its just brilliant.

Modest Intentions - It’s All Gone

Pure bliss.

Traxx Project ft. Emily Underhill - Another Place [Free]

Haven’t put up a free tune in a little while. Traxx project remix of Sally J Johnson is one of my favorite liquid tracks ever and these two tracks that you can download below are pretty dam good as well. Traxx Project know there way around female vocals. They get it spot on ever time. Like their facebook page for 2 free tracks (link below).

Deadmau5 - The Veldt

Brand new Deadmau5. Amazing. Though I will be waiting for the “instrumental” version without the vocals. Deadmau5 tracks dont need male vocals. Female on the other hand….

Omega feat. Cualli - Global Deceleration

This is one of the coolest, most funky sounding songs ive heard in years. I garentee your not ready for this. Try not to smile and dance, I DARE YOU!!! :D

Alex Clare - Too Close (Internet explorer track)

Im sure many of you have seen the new Internet Explorer advert. Got a txt recently asking me who did the track for it. Its a guy called Alex Clare and the track is from his album “The Lateness of the House”. Its an acoustic album backed by some subtle dubstep. Personally I think this is his best track off the album.

Nuage - Drawing Journey EP

Had this EP in my car for a little while now. I first came across this guy when Hospital released there Med School album featuring unknown up-and-coming “future artists”. Since then Nuage has gone from strength to strength. Really like this EP. Check out Drawing Journey, probably my favorite of the 4.

Swedish House Mafia - Greyhound

Anthem! 1 month on youtube equals 1,550,000 views. Rightly so. Hands in the air!!!!

Fred V & Grafix - Just A Thought (Ft. Reija Lee)

Been following Fred V and Graphix for a couple of years now. Hospitality signed them up not long ago and now they are smashing the scene. You can get this track with or without the vocals, which ever you prefer. The production of this is amazing though. These guys are at the top of their game.

Bustrexx - A Common Element EP

Not only can CoMa make sick tunes (“Image That”), she can also sing incredibly well. She features on the new Bustrexx EP along with Veela, out now on Subsphere Records. Its a brilliant liquid EP, very chilled with great melody’s and great vocals, I highly recommend.

Feed Me - Relocation

Truly epic progressive house from Feed Me. It begs the question though, why make a track like “Whiskers” (or anything else of his new EP) when you posses the skill to make a piece of music like this. It has a real Deadmau5 inspired sound to it and as its out of Mau5trap you can almost hear his input into it. By the end of the year this will still be in my top 5 2012 tracks. Pure class.
